Board of Elders
 
JOHN MARX
is from Beaver Falls and was raised in a Christian home. John became a Christian in 1977 while serving in the U.S. Army. He and his wife Rayann have two sons, two daughter-in-laws, one grandson Ryan, and four granddaughters: Emma, Faith, Avery and Ellie. John started attending CEFC in 2001. John served previously as Trustee Chairperson for two years and Council Chairman for three years. John is now in his third year serving as an Elder.  Administration and leadership are the focus of his ministry. John has extensive leadership experience in the military as well as various military chapel and para-church organizations such as Officer’s Christian Fellowship.
 
 
CHAD AGNEW
is the husband of Alison and father to Noah, Fiona, Silas and Judah. The Agnews have been attending CEFC since November 2005 and members since April 2006. Chad has served as a Senior High Sunday School teacher and AWANA leader. Chad has a passion for the ministry of the greater Church, especially the spiritual lives of teens and families. Chad loves to spend time in small groups investing in relationships. As we look to the future, Chad envisions CEFC having tremendous impact on the Beaver County area and trusts that our efforts will be focused on furthering the Kingdom of Christ.
 
 
 
TIM KOLODZIEJ
and his wife Sally have two children, Carly and David, and have been attending CEFC since April of 1999. During that time, Tim has been involved in the following ministries: as a teacher and helper in the Children’s Ministry, a Saturday night small-group leader, a member and blogger on The Edge website team, and a leader in the Ignite youth ministry. He also has taught basketball at Sonzone Day Camp. Tim says, “I am passionate about knowing Christ more intimately, loving and serving my wife, and leading and spending time with my family.” He goes on to say he is passionate about using sports, especially basketball, as a platform to impact the lives of young people, and using the latest technology to share the gospel message and to connect in ways we’ve never thought possible. He also enjoys reading, writing and fitness activities.
 
 
ROBE LILJESTRAND
and his wife Janet became members of CEFC in 1985. Robe has been active in several ministries in the church, including facilities and landscaping. He has a passion for the church and its projects. Robe served as the head of the Business Committee and was influential in the construction of the parking lot and new access road. He is a civil engineer who is in his 30th year of teaching at Geneva College. He uses his gifts to serve CEFC. Robe and his wife are also active in ABFs, and have served in the nursery.
 
 
MORRIS BOOK
has been a believer and follower of Jesus Christ since he was a young child. That commitment has grown ever stronger over the years as he has sought to serve and honor the Lord in whatever situation he encountered. He and his wife Beth, along with their family, came to Chippewa in 1980 when Morris joined Dr. Robert Brandt in his practice of surgery. They joined CEFC the same year and soon became involved in youth group and small group leadership. Morris has also been privileged to serve on the elder board for a number of terms over the years. Morris and Beth have four sons, three daughters-in-law and nine grandchildren. It is their desire to see God honored in every way, not only in their lives and within the lives of their own physical family, but also within the family of believers whom they have come to love here at CEFC.
 
 
RICK BRUNDAGE
and his wife Kathy have been attending CEFC since the fall of 2001. Rick has had the opportunity to serve the church in many capacities including Men’s Ministry, Finance Committee, which he chaired for two years, Vice Chair of the Church Council and youth group. Rick has lead the Firm Foundations ABF with Kathy and has worked as a small group leader and coach in student ministries. Rick’s three passions in life after the Lord are his family, the youth of the church and discipleship. 
 
 
BRIAN YOWLER
and his wife Tracy have been married 11 years and have two children Molly age 10, and David age 5. They began attending CEFC in summer of 2005 upon moving to Beaver Falls and became members in 2007. He is in his first term serving as an Elder. Brian and Tracy are leaders and primary teachers of Journey ABF for the past six years since it started.
 
 
JEFF MCNICOL Senior Pastor, 
has been CEFC's Senior Pastor since January 1999. He came to Beaver County after serving for 13 years in his former church in Minnesota. He hails from the Chicago area earning his bachelor’s at Trinity International University and his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jeff and his wife Carolyn have two daughters: Melissa and Megan. Jeff's primary focus is preaching and giving leadership to the staff and ministries of CEFC. He is passionate about God's Word, seeing people grow deep in faith, his family, basketball and Chicago-style pizza!  
 
 
JOHN WESTURN Executive Pastor,
joined the staff in October 2007. He comes to us from Minnesota. John attended Northwestern University where he majored in Bible and Business Management.  He received his master's in Organizational Leadership through Bethel College and served for 15 years at his former church in Minnesota. John works closely with Pastor Jeff and with the ministry staff team. He is passionate about seeing people come into a personal relationship with Christ and seeing them grow in their relationship; he loves seeing Christ become real in their lives. John is also passionate about his family and spending time with them. John and his wife Michele have three children: Joshua, Melanie and Rachel.
