Jeff McNicol has been CEFC's Senior Pastor since January 1999. He came to Beaver County after serving for 13 years in his former church in Minnesota. He hails from the Chicago area earning his bachelor’s at Trinity International University and his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jeff and his wife Carolyn have two daughters: Melissa and Megan. Jeff's primary focus is preaching and giving leadership to the staff and ministries of CEFC. He is passionate about God's Word, seeing people grow deep in faith, his family, basketball and Chicago-style pizza!

John Westurn joined the staff in October 2007. He comes to us from Minnesota. John attended Northwestern University where he majored in Bible and Business Management.  He received his master's in Organizational Leadership through Bethel College and served for 15 years at his former church in Minnesota. John works closely with Pastor Jeff and with the ministry staff team. He is passionate about seeing people come into a personal relationship with Christ and seeing them grow in their relationship; he loves seeing Christ become real in their lives. John is also passionate about his family and spending time with them. John and his wife Michele have three children: Joshua, Melanie and Rachel.

Ed Walsh joined the staff in August 2002. Growing up in nearby Cleveland, Ohio, he came to CEFC after 15 years in a Port St. Lucie, Florida, church where he served as their Executive Pastor. Ed received his accounting degree from Miami University in Ohio before he was called to the pastorate and continued his education earning a Master of Arts in Religion at Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary. Ed brings leadership and skill to the administrative functions of the church. He also leads the PrimeTimers! group, the senior adult ministry and coordinates Financial Peace University. He is passionate that believers experience God’s blessing through generous living and giving. Ed and his wife Brenda have three adult daughters: Kristin, Kim and Kaley. 

Jason came to CEFC in June 2010.  Jason began his ministry career in 1999 at his home church in Albany, Oregon.  In 2002, he received his Master of Divinity at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.  Since that time, he has served in churches in both Oklahoma and California.  Jason and his wife Elisa have six children: Halle, Braedon, Ella, Lola, Jaellyn and Milla.  Jason is passionate about seeing people grow as worshipers of God and is excited to lead CEFC in worship every weekend.

Matt came to CEFC in the summer of 2006. Previous church ministry took his family from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Indiana and now back to Pennsylvania. Matt is a graduate of Grace Seminary. In his current role at CEFC, he leads the discipleship ministries and is the host pastor in The Edge video worship venue. Matt and his wife Jolynn have two children: Elly and Christian. 

 

 

Ryan comes to CEFC from the south having been born in Charlotte, NC, and growing up in Rock Hill, SC. Following graduation from Rock Hill High, Ryan attended Anderson University in South Carolina where he received his bachelor’s in Christian Ministry. Prior to beginning his ministry at CEFC in January 2008, Ryan served as an Associate/Student Pastor in Rock Hill, SC. Ryan is passionate about his relationship with Jesus Christ and his family. He is also passionate about seeing students come into relationship with Jesus Christ and watching their relationship with Him and their families grow stronger. Ryan and his wife Mandy have two children: Zane and Paisley.

Bill Walder joined the staff of CEFC in July 2008. Bill was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He attended the University of Akron and received a degree in accounting. Following Bill's call into full-time ministry, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School completing his Master of Divinity. Bill has previously served as Pastor of Student Ministries, Pastor of College Ministries, and most recently, he was the Senior Pastor (for 14 years) at Crossroads EFC in Plymouth, Indiana. Bill will give leadership and direction to the care ministries of the church equipping people with care programs and the support they need. Bill is passionate about seeing people come to know Christ and thrive in their relationship with Him. He's also passionate about skiing in Colorado with his family and enjoying new cultures and people. Bill and his wife Lauren have three children: Melissa, Simon and Emily.
