"To be and to make disciples of Jesus Christ." We accomplish this purpose by focusing on the essential elements of worship, evangelism, discipleship and prayer.
The Chippewa Arrow is a visual representation of the major purposes of Chippewa Evangelical Free Church. The arrow points toward three major priorities: worship, evangelism and discipleship. These are the foundational elements to our ministry and from which all other ministry flows. It is our commitment to balance these three primary purposes in all we do. Prayer is a vital component of each aspect of the arrow because it is our belief that this ministry strategy will never fly if it is not founded and developed through prayer.
The Scriptural basis for this arrow is taken from:
The Great Commission
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
The Great Commandment
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)
